2019 Artist: Hanna Piepel

Illustrator, designer, and artist Hannah Piepel of Hanna Piepel Design Studio joins us this year all the way from Polk City.

Okay, so maybe that's not that far, but it feels like it every time we drive over that Saylorville bridge. Scary.

"I have a love for clay and creating functional art that can be used every day. My background in design/illustration appears in my porcelain work in the form of patterns and decorating techniques. You will find a combination of glaze techniques and underglaze patterns lending to a mix and match style."

We visited Hannah's website and decided we need to expand our coffee mug budget for the festival. Plus add some for new light switch plates. And plant plots. And maybe a little for air plant envelopes. And a new set of nesting bowls, and, and...
