2019 Artist: Madalyn Loring

"Thrive," by Madalyn Loring, of Madalyn Loring Ceramics of Cedar Rapids.

I use a terra-cotta clay body with terra-sig, underglaze, glaze and gold luster on the surface of my sculptures. My sculptures are hand-built using a variety of coil, pinch, and slab techniques."

Madalyn is another new artist for us, and we are glad to have her.

If you find alien plants as lovely and intriguing as we do, swing over to to preview more of the work she will be bringing to the 2019 Waukee Arts Festival.
