2019: Cara Briggs Farmer

This piece Cara Briggs Farmer calls "Nome Klongsky" is beautiful, but we really want to hear how it sounds. And we're hoping if it can be worked into one of our concerts.

Cara's mission statement on her application: "I love a good junkyard. I also love clean, shiny new steel. My work strikes a balance with new and old materials, asking the viewer to stretch their expectations of what is possible."

But we love this quote on her website even better: "Women who weld are a rare breed of badass, and I'm one of them."
