2020 Artist: Cara Briggs Farmer

If you've ever grown garlic, you get this. For everyone who hasn't, there is Google.

Returning artist Cara Briggs Farmer of Synergy Metalworks of Marion will be bringing her table sculptures to the festival. They are stainless steel free-form sculptures loosely inspired by spring garlic scapes.

Cara also wins the Best Artist Mission Statement for the second year in a row: "I'm just a Midwest gal making badass art and having a good time."

"MIG welded steel, stainless steel, and hand painted polycarbonate are my primary media. While some pieces rely on clean lines and new materials, other work incorporates reclaimed salvage yard objects."
