2020 Food: Brightside Kitchen

We're doing a little Happy Dance this morning. We can now confirm that Brightside Kitchen will be serving up their food at the Waukee Arts Festival. Brightside is a plant-based food business committed to making delicious food that supports the well-being of people, the planet, and animals. This news is big for all you folks asking us for more vegan and vegetarian at our event. This photo have you drooling on your keyboard? It's an example of one of their weekly featured bowls: Pesto Primavera Pasta. Sautéed onion, broccoli, zucchini, greens, and artichoke with pasta in a creamy pesto sauce, topped off with fresh heirloom tomato, balsamic, and almond parmesan!
