Announcemet: Artists of Courage

We have an exciting announcement to make, and in order to do so we need to introduce you to an artist new to the festival this year.

Because of the courage of new artist Jolene and her application to our event, we here at the Waukee Arts Council and the festival committee have learned that we still had work to do in order to make our event as inclusive and enjoyable as possible.

So in partnership with Best Buddies of Iowa, we are pleased to announce that there will be a special exhibition of "Artists of Courage."

While at the festival, please make it a point to stop in this exhibit to meet Jolene and the other artists we hope will be joining her there, and while there learn more about the Best Buddies of Iowa.
