As soon as we tell everyone we have only two photographers in the entire festival, another pops up to prove us wrong. But. we're okay with that.

Please welcome Mark Pearson of Mark's Backroad Photo from Malvern, Iowa.

"My goal is to capture moments and memories. Memories of days past, lives lived, and tales told, all through my lens. The barns, the roads, and streams, the wildflowers, the animals, and birds, the communities that we grew up with and now drive past too fast to see. My greatest reward is seeing the glimmer of the past in someones eyes as they stop long enough to remember. That being said....I consider myself a "Rural Romanticist", using composition, form and color to create calm scenes of the rural midwest. I have a large body of work which I edit, print(almost all) and mat myself, using quality papers and inks. All are matted with archival quality mats and backing, and presented professionally. I display out of a standard 10x10 tent, with professional display walls and bins.
